About Us

Celebrate the Special Bond
Between You and Your Horse!

Growing up, I was the "horse-crazy" girl, the child who begged to stop at the pony rides, the teen-ager who took every opportunity to just touch a horse.

Living in the suburbs might have easily put horses out of my reach, but "where there is a will there is a way."  For a couple of years, I babysat three pre-school age boys one afternoon a week for $7.00, then paid $6.00 for a horseback riding lesson!

Horses have continued to be my passion into adulthood.  Now, my husband and I share the joy of riding and living with horses.

A couple of years ago, my old Tennessee Walker gelding, Jake, had to be put down.  The veterinarian offered to cut some of his tail, and I put it away for several months, unable to even look at Jake's hair.  When I finally did take it out, the beautiful necklaces and bracelets that I produced from that one, large, auburn, lock of Jake's tail were an instant hit with my "horse friends," and Braided Bonds was created.
